Brooksfield School is a private school in McLean, Virginia, that offers a unique Montessori experience cultivating a love for learning that fosters lifelong friendships between children, families, teachers, and the community. Situated on 5 quaint acres of woodlands, we are dedicated to providing a loving, stimulating, and creative environment with a focus on the arts and nature.

We offer: Toddler Care, Day Care and Pre-K, Kindergarten, Dragonfly Club (extended day), Before/After Care for FCPS, and Summer Camp

Brooksfield School offers a unique Montessori experience cultivating a love for learning for young children. This philosophy extends to its summer camps (for kids ages 3-5 or 6-10) where they enjoy learning through outdoor play. Campers ages 3-5 enjoy swimming lessons tennis each week along with field trips. Campers ages 6-10 go off-campus for weekly field trips to enjoy activities such as hiking, archery, canoeing, lake swimming, farm visits, nature programs, horseback riding and horsemanship, ropes courses, indoor rock climbing, and more.

Our enthusiastic summer staff includes Brooksfield alumni who are creative, energetic, patient, and kind. All full-time staff members are certified in CPR and First Aid, and most are currently enrolled in or have graduated from a four year college or university.

Our summer camp sponsors leadership opportunities by involving our youth in the following programs. The minimum age for counselors is as follows: Group Counselor (18 years old), Junior Counselors (15-17 years old), and Counselors-In-Training, CIT (12-14 years old).

*Specialist activities can include: tennis, arts and crafts, field games, soccer, yoga, movement, cooking, gardening, etc.
