Camp Erin is an overnight weekend camp for children and teens, who are grieving the death of someone close to them.

Who?
Children and teens ages 6-17, who are grieving the death of someone close to them

What?
Campers participate in a wide range of activities including:
Sharing memories
Expressive arts
Trust and bonding activities
Campfire and drumming circle
Recreation and outdoor activities

When?
Friday, May 15 – Sunday, May 17, 2020

Where?
Bar-T Mountainside, 2914 Roderick Rd, Frederick, MD 21704. ​Round-trip transportation is provided to and from the CaringMatters Cottage in Gaithersburg, MD.

Why?
To allow youth to:
Tell their story in a safe environment
Process grief in healthy ways
Meet friends facing similar circumstances
Learn they are not alone
Build a tool-box of coping skills
Honor and memorialize loved ones
Have fun!

Good Grief Club is a 7- week school or community-based support group for students who are grieving.

Who?
Any Montgomery County elementary, middle school, or high school student who has experienced the death of a significant person in his/her life either recently, or years ago. Students may participate in a Good Grief Club more than once.​

What?
Support group co-facilitated by a trained CaringMatters volunteer and a school counselor or partner organization representative.
