Fairfax Ice Arena was established in 1973, in Fairfax, VA, we offer year-round public ice skating, figure skating and hockey programs, Pro Shop and cafe.

Fairfax Ice Arena is the first indoor ice rink facility in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. It was founded by successful serial entrepreneur, fashion designer, artist, model, and mother of five children, Eileen Weisiger and opened its doors on March 17, 1973.

We offer year-round recreational ice skating and competitive figure skating programs, a Pro-Shop and cafe. The rink continues to be home to first-rate coaching, and Olympic, national, sectional and regional skaters.

Summer Camps
Rock N’ Roll Extravaganza
Cost: $225 or $215 when enrolled in summer group lessons
Camp starts: June 17, 8 weeks
Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m.–8:20 p.m.

Recital: August 5, 6:30 p.m.–8:20 p.m.

This is a seven-week program session for Beta through Freestyle 6, ages 7–15. Each skater will skate a solo to their favorite rock n’ roll song.​​ Register today at the lesson office or call (703) 323-1132.

Earn Your Freestyle Badge
​Many students have completed the maneuvers of their freestyle level in a freestyle class and have registered for the next higher level. However, you can not receive your ISI freestyle patch until you complete a program. During the class, your instructor will be able to test you for the program, so you can receive the freestyle badge.​

I.S.I Summer Skating Camp
Cost:
$250 for one week, $400 for two weeks (Tot 3/4–Delta)
$280 for one week, $450 for two weeks (Freestyle 1–6)
Adding 2nd week if available: $200 (Tot 3/4–Delta), $220 (Freestyle 1–6)

Your choice of 1 or 2 weeks:

Week 1: August 10–14
Week 2: August 17–21

Dress Rehearsal: August 22, 8:00 a.m.–9:45 a.m.
Ice Show: August 22, 10:00 a.m.–11:45 a.m.

The I.S.I Summer Skating Camp is two full weeks of concentrated ice skating for ages 4–17 in Tot 3/4–Freestyle 6 levels.

Skaters can choose to do one or both weeks. You will receive instruction in the following areas: program, practice, stroking, ice show, lecture, maneuvers and an introduction to field moves/dance step. Applications must be received by August 7. More details coming soon.
