The Painting Workshop Art Enrichment & Joy for Everyone!

We have been offering fun, lively, quality art classes and workshops since 1995.

We believe, as Picasso says, that “everyone is an artist.” Young or old, the art of creating is a joyous, exciting process, and we work hard to provide the room, space, and materials for that to happen. We encourage students to try new things, to be inspired by other artists, to find their voice.

Our Locations
Mt. Washington: The majority of our classes and workshops are held in the charming village of Mt. Washington, which includes two studio spaces, the studio and the yurt.

Fells Point: We also have space in Fells Point. Our space is in a beautifully renovated school, The New Century School, with old wood floors and huge windows, one block north of the harbor. We will be offering 9 weeks of weekly art camp this summer in Fells Point.

Parties for Kids
All Parties are suspended at this time…

Birthday Parties at The Painting Workshop are fun for the kids, relaxing for the parents, and creative for everyone!
When: Saturdays and Sundays (You choose the time for 1 1/2 hours)
Cost: Parties cost $195, which includes all the supplies, the craft, and the space for an hour and a half. We recommend 10-15 guests. This is a drop-off party, as our space is limited.

NOTE: For children turning 5 and younger, we can accommodate 10 guests, so that we have room for parents.

Food and Cake: You are responsible decorations, food and food related items. For your convenience, Mt. Washington Pizza is in Mt. Washington Village, and will deliver.

The Painting Workshop

Painting parties for adults!!! What a fun way to get together with friends, have some refreshments, and go home with a painting or a beautiful craft! Our party coordinators will lead the group in how to paint a wonderful painting on canvas – no prior experience is necessary!

When: We can schedule them at your convenience!
Time: Two hours
Cost: $225 for 10 people; $10 per additional person
