Touching Heart Summer of Service

Touching Heart Summer Service Camp provides kids with a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need, both locally and around the world. Our program is unlike any other. With our guest speakers, lesson-based activities, and hands-on community service projects, campers have FUN all the while actively doing something to help those in need.

Our Summer Service Camp encourages kids to think beyond themselves and gain a greater sense of compassion and gratitude. Leadership skills are also strengthened as kids work together to complete community service projects and participate in various discussion topics.

Touching Heart’s Summer Service Camp provides a positive place to inspire kids to become a leader in their community and to have a giving heart!

Touching Heart is on a mission to inspire kids and fill their young hearts with love and compassion for one another. We believe that children can leave an imprint on the world in significant ways when they are taught just how impactful their thoughts and actions are. Touching Heart’s programs are focused on how to enlighten, excite, and educate children about how they can experience the true joy that comes from helping those in need.

Touching Heart delivers its mission through four exciting and inspiring programs:

Kids on a Mission: Working with a Touching Heart coach, kids select, plan and host their own fundraising events and projects. Our young leaders learn practical skills as they plan their events, develop budgets, and lead volunteers.

After-School Program: Our Schools on a Mission program is a 6 to 10 week (an hour a week) program where students learn and talk about issues that kids around the world face everyday. Throughout the class, we discuss important issues and participate in hands-on service projects. Students get firsthand experience helping others and turning their compassion into action.

Art of Giving Workshops: Participants learn and talk about issues that kids in need face everyday. Participants also work together on a service project, so they can understand how easy it is to help someone in need and gain a desire to have a positive impact on the world.

Summer Service Camp: Making a difference has never been so fun! Summer fun meets service when our campers spend 5 days learning, laughing, creating and giving back! Taking our inspiration from our popular school program, we created a camp that will get kids busy learning about people in need in their community and around the world, while completing hands-on service projects that make a difference!
